A problem of AP 1200 configuration

Hi ,
Recently , I configured Aironet 1200 AP , this is the first time setting it . I wanted to realize following function :
1. Configuring TCP/IP by DHCP .
2. Using WPA for security .

Here is the catalyst3560 ethernet port that connect to the AP ethernet port .

The problem is :
1. the authentication failed .
2. the 3560 can't ping AP .
3. Using WPA , must be 18 characters at least . But the word I used has 14 characters , how could I do that I still want to use WPA and either 14 characters
